Walking Tour
The first part of this tour is a walking tour with an experienced personal guide who will walk with you, detailing the historical facts related to each building and landmark. You’ll explore the seat of the legislative and judicial branches of the US Government and its supporting facilities, collectively known as Capitol Hill. The area is notable with its distinctive architecture and its rich history of American politics.
You will be offered ticket to get inside the Capitol and visit the Rotunda, the Crypt and old house chambers and other areas of the seat of Congress.
You will tour the halls of the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building with a live narration by your guide. If you’re a history buff, you will discover there the largest public collection of knowledge in the world.
Full Day Bus Tour
Explore the famous landmarks and monuments of Washington DC on this guided 6-hour walking and riding sightseeing tour. Hop aboard a deluxe motor coach and enjoy an educational and entertaining narrated history of the nation’s capital. Stop at the White House and the United States Capitol, plus the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and much more. The full-day tour features more than 30 sites with stops to at least 12 sites. It’s a great way to see many of DC’s popular attractions.
Tour Ticket Upgrades
Tour ticket upgrades are reserved according to availability. If you purchase an upgrade, please ask your tour guide or driver for your upgrade when being checked in. Washington Monument Tickets are typically reserved for 3:30pm however time slots provided may vary. Museums are open 10am-4:30pm. Customer must honor time reserved on their ticket. Any questions please call before reserving.
Please Note: On Mondays, the Library of Congress is not included in the tour as it’s closed. The tour on Mondays will include a survey of the Supreme Court and Library of Congress from outside, before touring inside of the U.S. Capitol’s Visitor’s Center Museum. Tour will also include visiting three historic rooms of the U.S. Capitol building, such as the Crypt, Rotunda and Statuary Hall. The tour experience will last approximately one hour and forty minutes to two hours
